Remote coaching
If you are reading this then you have made the wise decision to seek out a professional coach to assist you on your journey to master the sport of weightlifting. Congratulations! You are on the right path.
I am the owner of Kingdom Barbell and a licensed weightlifting coach (BWL). I have taken several lifters from complete beginner to national level weightlifter.
I offer a complete remote coaching package, including a personalised programme sent to you in four week blocks, detailed frame by frame lift analysis, competition strategy, and guidance with nutrition.
How it works
Typically I communicate day to day with my lifters via whatsapp. I give technical feedback either through a detailed breakdown of an individual lift or a weekly overview in a YouTube video. I have included examples of both here.
Programmes are delivered through a live Google document which can be updated if any adjustments to the programme are needed.

Honestly I couldn’t recommend Kingdom Barbell enough. I had been lifting for a year before I joined but when I did,... my snatch went up over 10kg over the duration of one summer after having plateaued!!!! I am so grateful that a friend recommended Kingdom Barbell to me!George is an exceptionally talented trainer as he... can adapt programmes for such a wide range of people - some looking to do weightlifting competitions and others like me who have never done it before and just want to be fitter and stronger. George has helped me with my pre-existing joint problems. I have noticed a huge improvement in my strength and stability as well as a drastic decrease in the amount of pain I feel each day. After just a few months of training, I was able to jump out of bed straight away without having to stretch for half an hour!I was very nervous and unsure about joining a weightlifting club as I really didn't feel like it would be inclusive - how wrong was I?! Kingdom Barbell is great! I decided to give lifting a go on a whim but ended up loving it.George (and the community... of lifters at KB) have been really welcoming and encouraging to a total weedy rookie like me. There was no judgement for not being able to lift a lot or understand all the techniques and lingo. Everyone there chips in with tips and encourages you when you hit a new PB or even when you keep messing up - it's a great atmosphere! As a not-naturally-sporty-girl I loved the mix of people there, I didn't feel out of place or not the right 'type' of person, which you can find in a lot of other gyms....Once I was congratulated with a stream of high fives for putting on weight (muscle mass I guess!), which for a girl was weird but totally liberating! As I got stronger and better in my technique I became more confident in myself and what I can achieve...blah blah blah... girl power...Anyway, thanks KB + George!read more
